One month ago today I married my best friend and love of my life, Stef on a campsite in Sussex. You can see a selection of our beautiful photographs on Polly Alexandre’s site.

We have been together for 7 year and have 3 children. I didn’t think getting married would really change anything. It has changed everything.
When we got married we decided to make some marriage resolutions, as it felt like the perfect time to stop and think about our lives. As many of you will know Stef and I work way too many hours every week and our work/life balance hasn’t had any balance for a very long time. One of our big resolutions is to change this and we have already started to make small steps in the right direction. We have a long way to go but getting married has really helped us to focus on what is important to us and each day we are taking another step towards having a much better work/life balance with plenty of time with our children, our friends and with each other.

One month ago today I fell in love all over again and I couldn’t be happier. xxx

Tim and Abi got married at the lovely Maunsel House in Somerset on a cold December day.

After a couple of hours of driving through a blizzard on the M40 at 20mph we had to make a decision to keep going and try to make the ceremony (in 3 hours) or to stop at the services and stay at the Travelodge. There were abandoned cars, overturned cars, no road markings. But there was really no way that I was giving up on getting to this wedding. I couldn’t let my bride and groom down. Three hours later we got to the junction, so I phoned the bride’s sister and asked to try her best to wait for me to get there before the ceremony started. What I didn’t realise was that the five minute drive was going to be blocked with stuck cars. I had to get out the car, grab the essential kit, put my hat on and walk to the venue. (I was 32 weeks pregnant at the time). I made it just in time to capture this very special wedding at the Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick . Phew.
