Taking Time Out

day72

Hello! I haven’t been blogging here for many months. Apologies! I have been very busy over at The Startup Wife and starting the Crafty Fox Box. During 2013 I will not be available for weddings or engagement shoots as my fourth baby is due tomorrow and I am taking some time away from my professional photography work with new clients for the rest of the year.

I am continuing my botanical photography and my images are available on Etsy and you can follow me on Instagram for a glimpse into my photographic sketchbook.

Sarah & Stephen {married}

IMG_9979

At the beginning of May I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of Sarah and Stephen at the beautiful One Marylebone, one of my very favourite venues in London. Sarah’s attention to detail combined with this stunning venue created the most beautiful setting. It was a joy to photograph and I was delighted to have the talented Sarah Tobin shooting with me for the day.

Vintage China For Sale

china  106

*** This is now SOLD. Thank you***

For our wedding I collected lots of pretty pieces of vintage china to use for our wedding picnic. The day after the wedding we had a cute little sale and lots of our guests went home with tea cups and saucers and cute plates. We have kept some of it for ourselves too but now it’s time to sell it on. There are 345 pieces. At the end of this week I will be listing it on ebay but I wanted to offer it for sale on here first, just in case a bride or a vintage hire service is interested.

The Wedding Reporter

Screen shot 2012-04-20 at 10.55.36

Booking the Wedding Reporter for our wedding (or should I say weddings?!) was one of the best decisions we made. Emma attended both our small registry office wedding and our big festival, outdoor wedding two days later, and wrote the most beautiful report of our special days. She captured so much and many things I didn’t even know happened on the day. We now have the most beautiful story of our wedding (beautiful bound) to treasure forever and share with our children. I’d love to read it as a family each year on our anniversary to help keep the special memories in all of our minds.

weddingreporter

Emma blends into a wedding day perfectly and is super professional. She captures so many wonderful details and beautifully describes the emotions. Having a wedding report to go with your photographs really does make for a perfect combination.

You can read our wedding report on Emma’s lovely new website. Have a tissue to hand!

Thank you again Emma for being a part of our celebrations and for creating the most beautiful, treasured story, which we will hand down the generations. x
