Married {month two}
One of my favourite quotes (Robert Browning) was put onto this beautiful little hanging for us by the talented Vicky Trainor for our wedding. I think for us this quote holds a lot of meaning. We are both working incredibly hard towards a personal goal at the moment, which if it all goes to plan will enable us to take a bit more time out in the future. I really do think that “the best is yet to be” for us. Yet, this past month (the second of our married life) has also reminded me that although things are hard going at the moment (Stef regularly works 100+ hours a week!) and we are often holding onto the promise of better times ahead, we must also remember that what we have right here, right now is amazing in itself. We have a beautiful marriage and three beautiful and special little children. And, although we spend far too much time working, we are both doing jobs that we love. So, I will remember that “the best” is in every new day together. xxx
“Love Notes” also by Vicky Trainor and available to buy in her lovely store. I used this one for our guest book at our wedding.
